Prince Faisal bin Farhan Meets China’s Wang Yi in Beijing

BEIJING, June 30 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the two ministers reviewed strategic relations between Saudi Arabia and China and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation across several fields in support of common interests.
They also discussed the latest regional and international developments and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, including developments in the region, efforts to de-escalate tensions and enhance security and stability.
The talks also addressed the importance of ensuring maritime navigation security and preserving freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and international waterways, in support of energy security and global economic stability.
The meeting further reviewed ways to strengthen economic, trade and investment cooperation between Saudi Arabia and China and to enhance partnership in several vital sectors, including energy, industry, supply chains and advanced technologies.
The discussions were held in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and focused on developing mutual investments, increasing trade exchange and opening new areas of cooperation between the two countries.
