Jeddah Joins UN-Habitat Quality of Life Initiative

JEDDAH, July 1 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Jeddah has officially joined the global Quality of Life Initiative, a UN-Habitat-supervised program aimed at helping cities measure and improve residents’ daily living conditions.
Jeddah Municipality said the step will support regular monitoring of quality of life across the city and allow Jeddah to exchange knowledge, solutions and urban development practices with other member cities.
The initiative is also intended to support more inclusive and sustainable urban policies, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The municipality said it will work with relevant entities to improve living, social and economic conditions across Jeddah’s neighborhoods.
As part of the launch, the municipality invited citizens and residents to take part in a digital survey covering current living experiences, safety levels, access to local services, service quality and residents’ connection to their communities.
