Firefighters Battle Blaze in Ruwais After Iranian Drone Strike

Riyadh, March 10, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Authorities in the United Arab Emirates said firefighters were battling a blaze in Ruwais after an Iranian drone strike.

The Abu Dhabi Media Office said no injuries had been reported.

Ruwais lies about 175 kilometers southwest of the capital Abu Dhabi, in a desert area near the border with Saudi Arabia, and is home to major petrochemical facilities.
