Fire in Fujairah Oil Industry Zone brought under control after drone debris falls

Riyadh, March 3, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Authorities in Fujairah responded to a fire in the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone on Tuesday morning after debris fell following the interception of an Iranian drone, Fujairah’s media office said.
No injuries were reported. The fire was brought under control and normal operations in the area resumed.
Fujairah is a strategic energy hub for the United Arab Emirates on the Gulf of Oman, outside the Strait of Hormuz, with storage and export infrastructure that allows crude exports to bypass the strait.
