Dubai’s Creators Gathering opens with focus on AI, Arabic content and the future of the creator economy

DUBAI, April 28 — The Creators Gathering opened in Dubai on Monday, bringing together more than 1,000 content creators, media professionals and industry experts to discuss the future of the Arab content economy.

Organised by Creators HQ, the event featured panel discussions and workshops aimed at helping creators improve skills, expand digital capabilities and enhance the quality of Arabic content across online platforms.

A key announcement at the event was the launch of Risha.ai by Ai Media Lab, described as the first integrated Arabic artificial intelligence platform designed specifically for creators across the Middle East and North Africa.

Creators were also invited to apply for the Social Content Fund, an initiative announced earlier this year by Creators HQ and Alfan during the 1 Billion Followers Summit.

Sessions covered artificial intelligence, audience engagement, digital ethics, mental health challenges, podcast growth and platform algorithms, while workshops included training led by Google, YouTube, TikTok and regional creators.

The event reflects the UAE’s broader push to support the content sector as part of the modern media and digital economy landscape.
