Absher records 49.1 million transactions in August 2026
RIYADH, September 28, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia’s Absher platform recorded 49,118,832 electronic transactions in August through Absher Individuals and Absher Business, the Ministry of Interior said in figures carried by SPA.
Absher Individuals accounted for 46,379,060 transactions. That figure included 37,117,035 views of the digital document wallet in the Absher application. Absher Business recorded 2,739,772 transactions.
The ministry also reported 3,639,719 transactions for services provided by the General Directorate of Public Security, including 3,515,902 through the General Directorate of Traffic. The General Directorate of Passports processed 2,103,849 transactions, while the Civil Affairs Agency accounted for 628,711.
Other activity on Absher Individuals included 128,321 reports issued through Absher Reports and 2,230 general fingerprint inquiries.
Digital identities issued through Absher allow citizens, residents and visitors to use Ministry of Interior services on Absher Individuals, Absher Business and Absher Government. They also provide access to government and private entities through the National Unified Access Portal, Nafath.
