Absher Platform Drives Saudi Arabia’s Digital Leadership, SDAIA Official Says

RIYADH, December 18 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Absher platform ranked first in Saudi Arabia’s Digital Transformation Index 2025, with the Kingdom recording a compliance rate of 88.30% and a digital experience maturity score exceeding 86%, according to remarks by Dr. Esam bin Abdullah Alwagait at the Absher Conference 2025.

The index, issued by the Digital Government Authority, measures the level of digital transformation across government entities.

Saudi Arabia also advanced 25 places in the United Nations E-Government Development Index 2024, while maintaining first place regionally for the third consecutive year in the Government Electronic and Mobile Services (GEMS) Maturity Index for the Middle East and North Africa.

The National Information Center Director highlighted that the Absher platform has played a central role in government digital services, supporting service delivery within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030.
