RIYADH, Saudi Arabia - According to the National Center for Meteorology, regions of Najran, Jazan, Asir, Baha, Makkah, Eastern, Riyadh and Qassim are expected to experience moderate to torrential thundershowers, accompanied by dust-stirring winds.
Light to moderate thundershowers, accompanied by strong winds, are also forecast for parts of Tabuk, Northern Borders and Jawf regions.
Over the Red Sea, winds are expected to be southerly to southwesterly in the northern part, with speeds of 15 to 35km/h, and westerly to northwesterly in the central part, with similar speeds. In the southern part, winds could reach up to 50km/h with thunderstorms.
In the Arabian Gulf, the wind will be southeasterly to easterly in the northern part, registering a speed of 20 to 40km/h, and westerly to northwesterly in the southern part, with speeds of 20 to 40km/h, potentially reaching 45km/h with thunderstorms.
