In a recent announcement, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet's Mosque has disclosed that the Prophet's Mosque experienced an impressive influx of worshipers and visitors, totaling 5,513,921 during the third week of Jumada Al-Akhirah. This noteworthy achievement was attributed to the implementation of integrated and high-quality services, facilitating a seamless and comfortable prayer experience for the crowds.
According to the periodic statistics released by the authority, 220,304 worshippers were efficiently accommodated to perform prayers at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif. The authority further highlighted its commitment to inclusivity by providing dedicated services for 13,262 elderly individuals and people with disabilities during the last week.
Noteworthy is the fact that 129,944 individuals of diverse nationalities benefited from the communication services offered in multiple languages, enhancing the overall experience for international visitors.
In addition to fostering a spiritual environment, the mosque served as a hub for intellectual pursuits, with 10,902 individuals visiting the mosque's library. Furthermore, 2,961 people explored the exhibitions and museums within the premises, contributing to the cultural richness of the visitors' experience.
The commitment to guidance services was evident, with a total of 11,189 services being offered through the unified number and various communication channels, ensuring that visitors had access to the necessary information and assistance.
As an expression of hospitality, the authority distributed 102,101 gifts among the visitors, reinforcing the welcoming atmosphere of the mosque. Additionally, more than 126,000 bottles of Zamzam water and 134,429 Iftar meals were distributed to worshippers and visitors, further enhancing their overall experience.
