Jeddah, June 11, 2024 — Kuwait's Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah arrived today at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, marking the beginning of a significant diplomatic visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.


His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, personally welcomed the Kuwaiti Crown Prince, underscoring the importance of the visit. The reception ceremony was also graced by the presence of Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, who emphasized the deep-rooted relations between the two neighboring Gulf countries.


Joining the welcoming delegation were Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khalid, the Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait, and Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. Other senior officials from both nations were also in attendance, reflecting the high-level significance of the visit.


The visit of Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah is expected to further enhance cooperation and discuss mutual interests, particularly in the areas of economic partnership, regional security, and cultural exchange. The strong diplomatic ties between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia continue to play a crucial role in maintaining stability and fostering development within the Gulf region.
