RIYADH, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, February 27, 2024 - His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, received His Excellency Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, in Riyadh today.
President Zelenskyy expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and the opportunity for bilateral dialogue. Both leaders engaged in a comprehensive discussion, reviewing the current state of relations between Saudi Arabia and Ukraine.
The meeting focused prominently on the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. The Crown Prince reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's unwavering commitment to supporting international efforts aimed at achieving a peaceful resolution to the conflict. He further emphasized the Kingdom's ongoing contributions of humanitarian assistance to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
President Zelenskyy expressed his sincere gratitude for Saudi Arabia's unwavering support and humanitarian efforts throughout the crisis.
The meeting was attended by a high-level delegation from both countries, including key Saudi ministers and senior Ukrainian officials. This event underscores the continued commitment of both nations to fostering strong bilateral relations and collaborating on issues of regional and international importance.
