Saudi King Salman Issues Royal Order to Promote 26 Judges at Board of Grievances: SPA

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia - The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has issued a royal order to promote 26 judges at the Board of Grievances, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The announcement was made by His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Yousuf, President of the Board of Grievances and Chairman of the Administrative Judiciary Council. The royal order includes the promotion of three judges from the rank of Appeal Judge to President of Appeal Court, one judge from the rank of President of Court/B to President of Court/A, ten judges from Deputy Court/A to President of Court/B, four judges from Judge/B to Judge/A, and eight judges from Judge/C to Judge/B.

Dr. Al Yousuf explained that this royal order underscores the commitment of the leadership to support the administrative judiciary with judicial competencies, aiming to enhance its performance and achieve quality and efficiency in all its work.

He further stated that this comes thanks to God’s grace and then under the guidance and attention of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister - may God protect them - and the care they give to the administrative judiciary and the Grievances Court in order to achieve justice and preserve rights.
