Saudi Crown Prince and U.S. Armed Services Committee Discuss Bilateral Relations and Mutual Interests in Jeddah


JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA - His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held a high-level meeting with Representative Mike Rogers, Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives, in Jeddah. The meeting was also attended by Armed Services Committee members Representatives Adam Smith, Salud Carbajal, and Veronica Escobar.


The meeting focused on reviewing the bilateral friendship relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States, exploring prospects of cooperation, and discussing several issues of mutual interest.


The Saudi delegation included Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the U.S. Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of State and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Muhammad Al-Aiban, and President of General Intelligence Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan.


Representing the U.S. were Deputy Chief of the U.S. Mission Alison Dilworth and Military Attaché at U.S. Embassy to the Kingdom Brig. Gen. Richard Quirk.


The meeting underscores the strong ties between the two nations and their shared commitment to maintaining stability and security in the region.
