Saudi Arabia Condemns Terrorist Attack Near Moscow


RIYADH - The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, has sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation following the recent terrorist attack near Moscow.


King Salman strongly condemned the criminal act, expressing his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to President Putin, the families of the victims, and the people of the Russian Federation. He also wished a speedy recovery for those injured in the attack.

In his message, King Salman emphasized Saudi Arabia’s firm stance against all forms of violence, terrorism, and extremism. He reiterated the Kingdom’s commitment to international efforts to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.


In a similar gesture, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to President Putin. The Crown Prince echoed the sentiments of King Salman, condemning the criminal act and expressing his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the president, the families of the victims, and the people of the Russian Federation. He also wished a speedy recovery for the injured.


The messages from the King and the Crown Prince underscore Saudi Arabia’s solidarity with the Russian Federation during this difficult time and its unwavering stance against terrorism.
