Saudi Ambassadors-designate Sworn In Before King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia

In a solemn ceremony held today at Irqah Palace in Riyadh, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, presided over the oath-taking of the newly appointed Saudi Ambassadors-designate to several friendly states. The event, which signifies a formal commitment to diplomatic service, saw the esteemed diplomats pledge allegiance before the monarch.

The distinguished ambassadors who solemnly took the oath include:

  • Princess Haifa bint Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf Al Muqrin, Ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Spain

  • Dr. Ghazi bin Faisal bin Zaqar, Ambassador-designate to Japan

  • Majed bin Abdulaziz Al-Abdan, Ambassador-designate to the Republic of Hungary

  • Fayez bin Meshal Al-Tamyaat, Ambassador-designate to the Republic of Mauritius

  • Mohammed bin Khalil Falooda, Ambassador-designate to the Republic of Uganda

  • Rami bin Saud Al-Otaibi, Ambassador-designate to the Republic of Bulgaria

The oath, administered individually, reflects a solemn commitment by the newly appointed diplomats. They affirmed their loyalty to their religion, King, and homeland, pledging not to disclose any state secrets, to uphold the interests and regulations of the Kingdom both internally and externally, and to discharge their duties with honesty, integrity, and sincerity.

Among the dignitaries present at the ceremony were Eng. Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Tameem bin Abdulaziz Al-Salem, the Assistant to the Special Secretary of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Their attendance underscored the significance of the occasion, symbolizing the support and supervision of the Saudi leadership over the diplomatic missions.
