Princes Take Oath of Allegiance Before the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques

In a solemn ceremony held at Irqah Palace in Riyadh today, a distinguished group of princes had the honor of taking the oath of allegiance before the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The momentous occasion, attended by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, marked the formal induction of these individuals into their newly appointed positions.


The princes who took the oath include:


  1. Governor of Madinah Region - Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz

  2. Deputy Governor of Makkah Region - Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz

  3. Deputy Governor of the Eastern Region - Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz

  4. Deputy Governor of Tabuk Region - Prince Khalid bin Saud bin Abdullah bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz

  5. Deputy Governor of Asir Region - Prince Khalid bin Sattam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz

  6. Deputy Governor of Al-Jouf Region - Prince Miteb bin Mishaal bin Badr bin Saud bin Abdulaziz

The oath-taking ceremony was conducted following the issuance of royal orders appointing these esteemed princes to their respective positions, signifying a moment of commitment and dedication to the service of their religion, King, and homeland.


The oath, a solemn and binding commitment, was administered as follows:

"I swear by Allah Almighty to be loyal to my religion, King, and homeland, not to divulge any of the State's secrets, to maintain its interests and regulations, and to perform my duties with honesty, integrity, and sincerity."


The significance of this ceremony was underscored by the presence of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, who attended to witness and lend his support to the solemn occasion.


This oath-taking ceremony symbolizes the unwavering dedication of these princes to the values, principles, and responsibilities entrusted to them by their positions of leadership. As they embark on their new roles, their commitment to the well-being and prosperity of the Kingdom remains paramount, aligned with the vision and directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince.
