The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) of Saudi Arabia has issued a comprehensive weather warning encompassing various regions of the country.
Weather hazards include:
Scattered Thundershowers: Anticipated across portions of Najran, Jazan, Asir, Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Northern Borders, Eastern Provinces, and Riyadh.
Dust Storms: Residents in certain areas of Eastern Provinces, Riyadh, Northern Borders, Hail, and Qassim can expect dust-stirring winds that may significantly reduce visibility.
Low Temperatures: Cooler temperatures are predicted in Tabuk, Hail, Qassim, Northern Borders, and Jawf.
Wind Advisories:
Red Sea: Northerly to northwesterly winds (20-40 km/h) are expected in the northern regions. Southerly to southwesterly winds (gradually turning westerly to northwesterly) with speeds of 10-30 km/h are forecast for the central sectors. The southern regions will experience southeasterly to southwesterly winds (gradually turning westerly) at speeds of 10-30 km/h.
Arabian Gulf: Southeasterly winds (turning northwesterly overnight) are anticipated in the northern portions (25-50 km/h), while the southern areas will experience southeasterly winds (10-30 km/h).
The NCM urges inhabitants in the affected areas to exercise caution during this weather event and to monitor subsequent updates issued by the Center.
