From top DJs David Guetta and Marshmello to pop music's biggest artists, this year's Soundstorm music festival is shaping up to be bigger and bolder than ever before.
PARIS, France - MDLBEAST unveiled the first round of its headline acts to tear up the stage at the Soundstorm 2022 music festival, which is scheduled to take place in Banban, Riyadh from 1 to 3 December.
Since its inception in 2019, MDLBEAST's pillar event, Soundstorm, has grown bigger in both scale and ambition. Today, it is undoubtedly the Middle East's largest music festival, showcasing music's biggest names including David Guetta and Deadmau5, and drawing more than 730,000 visitors last year.
This year's lineup for the three-day event sees the return of DJs Carl Cox, DJ Snake, and David Guetta alongside first-timer Marshmello and female Saudi DJs such as Biirdperson, DJ Cosmicat, Dorar, Kayan, and Solskin alongside their peers Dish Dash, Vinylmode, and regional star DJ Aseel.
The festival will be expanding even further beyond its focus on electronic music this year to present some of the world's best-selling artists. Mainstream chart - topping musicians Bruno Mars, DJ Khaled, Post Malone, and Afrobeast superstar Wizkid are expected to inject a more pop sound into the event and appeal to a wider music - loving demographic.
Besides the blockbuster line-up, Soundstorm organisers revealed in today’s announcement that the festival experience has almost doubled in size this year with more enhanced F&B offerings, open seating spaces to relax, and parking on site for all General Admission ticket holders.
