King Salman’s Eid Al-Fitr Address: A Message of Unity, Gratitude, and Hope


RIYADH - The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, delivered a heartfelt address on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr 1445 AH, expressing his congratulations and gratitude to Allah for the opportunity to observe fasting and prayer.


The address, conveyed by Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dossary, began with a blessing in the name of Allah, extending peace and blessings upon Prophet Mohammad, his family, and companions.


King Salman extended his greetings to his sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, citizens and residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Muslims everywhere. He expressed his deepest gratitude to Allah for the opportunity to observe fasting and prayer during the holy month of Ramadan, imploring Almighty to accept these devotions.


In his own words, King Salman said, “We extend our congratulations on the blessed Eid Al-Fitr occasion. We express our deepest gratitude to Allah for the opportunity to observe fasting and prayer, and we implore Almighty to accept these devotions from us. May Allah grant us the continued privilege of witnessing this blessed month, filled with goodness and joy, in the years to come.


The King thanked Allah Almighty for the unity of the Saudi people, the solidarity of its ranks, and the profound honor of serving the two holy mosques, Hajj pilgrims, Umrah performers, and all visitors. He reaffirmed the Kingdom’s steadfast adherence to the path established by the founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman, and his successors.


King Salman expressed profound gratitude to Allah Almighty for enabling millions of worshippers to perform their Umrah rituals with ease and tranquility during Ramadan. He praised the tireless efforts of various state sectors dedicated to serving the guests of Allah, facilitating worship, and ensuring the smooth execution of rituals.

As the Kingdom welcomes Eid Al-Fitr this year, King Salman reiterated the need to stop attacks on the Palestinian people, provide safe humanitarian and relief corridors, and end their suffering by enabling them to obtain all their legitimate rights, including establishing their independent state and living in safety.

King Salman concluded his address with a prayer for continued security, safety, and prosperity for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, extending peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah to all.

This address serves as a reminder of the Kingdom’s commitment to unity, gratitude, and hope, as well as its unwavering dedication to serving the two holy mosques and their visitors.
