Over 9.8 Million Worshipers Visit the Prophet’s Mosque in the First 10 Days of Ramadan


The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque reported that the Prophet’s Mosque received a total of 9,818,474 worshipers and visitors in the first 10 days of Ramadan.


This significant turnout was managed amidst integrated and high-quality services, enabling crowds to perform their prayers smoothly and efficiently.

According to the Authority-issued statistics, 739,702 individuals visited the Prophet Mohammed’s tomb, following organizational procedures that control crowd movement and schedule times for optional prayers for both men and women. The services provided last week benefited 26,910 elderly people and individuals with disabilities.


The report also highlighted that visitors who availed themselves of guidance services reached 132,893. In addition, 195,800 bottles of Zamzam water were provided, and a staggering 2,908,530 Iftar meals were distributed in corridors of the mosque designated for fasting individuals.


These figures underscore the commitment of the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque to provide high-quality services to all visitors, ensuring a peaceful and fulfilling worship experience during the holy month of Ramadan.
