PARIS, France - The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Dr. Jassim Mohammed Al – Budaiwi, visited Media Oasis Exhibition on Thursday, which was held on the sidelines of the 32nd Arab Summit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The exhibition showcased the achievements and initiatives of the media sector in the GCC countries, as well as the latest technologies and innovations in the field of information and communication.
Dr. Al-Budaiwi praised the efforts of the GCC media institutions in enhancing cooperation and coordination among the member states, as well as highlighting the common issues and challenges facing the region.
He also expressed his appreciation for the role of the Saudi media in covering the Arab Summit and its outcomes, which reflected the unity and solidarity of the Arab countries.
The GCC Secretary General was accompanied by a number of GCC officials and media representatives during his tour of the exhibition. He also met with some of the exhibitors and exchanged views on various topics related to media development and integration.
