UAE, Togo discuss strengthening bilateral ties in Lomé

Lomé, March 14 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of State, met with Faure Gnassingbé, President of the Togolese Republic, in Lomé to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation across key sectors of mutual interest.
During the meeting, Sheikh Shakhboot conveyed the greetings of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the government and people of Togo.
President Gnassingbé expressed his appreciation for the UAE's commitment to fostering ties and reciprocated greetings to the UAE leadership, reaffirming his country’s interest in expanding cooperation with the Gulf nation.
The discussions focused on deepening economic, trade, and investment partnerships between the UAE and Togo, as both sides underscored their shared commitment to fostering stronger diplomatic and economic ties.
