SHARJAH, June 10 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – UAE-based BEEAH Group, a regional leader in sustainability and innovation, announced on Monday its strategic expansion into real estate development, building on its experience across environment, energy, technology, and healthcare sectors.
The move reflects BEEAH’s long-term diversification strategy and aims to integrate sustainability into high-impact industries while addressing urban development challenges and enhancing quality of life.
“Developing real estate is a natural evolution for BEEAH, unlocking a new avenue for us to address society’s most pressing challenges,” said Group CEO and Vice Chairman Khaled Al Huraimel. “We aim to create exceptional urban environments and set new regional benchmarks for modern living.”
BEEAH has led various developments, including its own Zaha Hadid-designed headquarters and the upcoming Jawaher Boston Medical District, designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop. It was recently appointed strategic lead and project manager of the Sharjah Creative Quarter, designed by Taller de Arquitectura – Mauricio Rocha and Daniel Rosselló.
The organisation is expected to announce a landmark real estate development in the coming weeks, designed to advance sustainable and smart urban design.
BEEAH continues to expand in core sectors. In environment, it operates an end-to-end waste management ecosystem, achieving over 90% landfill diversion in Sharjah, and has expanded services to Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Its energy ventures include the Sharjah Waste-to-Energy plant and trials for hydrogen-from-waste technology in the UK.
In technology, BEEAH drives digital transformation through ventures such as re.life, disrupting recycling and logistics, and EVOTEQ, whose “traq” platform supports supply chain transparency. Its ION joint venture promotes EV charging infrastructure, and a Tier III data center is under construction through its Khazna partnership.
In healthcare, BEEAH is developing the Jawaher Boston Medical District in partnership with US medical institutions. The initiative integrates sustainable design with patient-centric care and is complemented by ventures such as Wekaya for medical waste and traqpharma for pharmaceutical supply chain monitoring.
The group’s entry into real estate adds to its mission of enabling a smart, diversified, and sustainable economy, aligned with national development goals.
