UAE President awards Order of Zayed to U.S. President Donald Trump

ABU DHABI, May 16 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan awarded the Order of Zayed, the United Arab Emirates’ highest civilian honor, to U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday in recognition of his efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation.

The honor, reserved for heads of state, was granted during President Trump’s ongoing visit to the Gulf region, and reflects the UAE’s appreciation of the strategic partnership between the two nations.

“By awarding the Order of Zayed to President Donald Trump, we express our appreciation for his efforts to strengthen the ties that unite the UAE and U.S., while underscoring our shared commitment to further expanding cooperation,” said Sheikh Mohamed.

The UAE and the United States maintain strong ties across multiple sectors, including defense, investment, innovation, and regional diplomacy. The award ceremony highlighted both the historic nature of the relationship and the continued intent to deepen collaboration.
