Turki Al Al-Sheikh Inaugurates AlHisn Big Time Studios in Riyadh, Transforming Film and TV Production in the Middle East
Riyadh, November 5, 2024 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Advisor Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al Al-Sheikh, officially inaugurated AlHisn Big Time Studios in the west of Riyadh on Monday. This state-of-the-art film and television production complex is the largest and most advanced in the Middle East, marking a significant milestone for the entertainment industry in the region.
Constructed in a remarkably short period of 120 days, AlHisn Big Time Studios features seven studio buildings spanning a total area of 10,500 square meters. The entire project area encompasses 300,000 square meters, including a comprehensive production village equipped with carpentry and metalworking workshops and costume design facilities to support creative projects.
The studios are designed to provide a seamless and efficient production experience. Amenities include luxurious VIP suites, offices tailored for film production, and fully equipped editing rooms, creating an ideal environment that enhances productivity and reduces production timelines.
The consolidation of film and television production services in one location is expected to significantly streamline operations, saving time, effort, and costs. This centralization aligns with global standards and aims to elevate the region’s standing in the entertainment industry.
