Saudi Crown Prince

RIYADH, May 14 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – U.S. President Donald J. Trump met with Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Tuesday in Riyadh, in a meeting focused on strengthening economic ties and investment cooperation between the two nations.

During the session, President Trump praised the Crown Prince, describing him as “very wise, wise beyond his years,” and underscored the strength of the U.S.-Saudi relationship, calling it a “tremendous partnership.”

“I really believe we like each other a lot,” Trump said, characterizing the visit as an honor and expressing admiration for the Crown Prince’s leadership.

Trump noted that Saudi investment in the United States would result in “tremendous numbers of jobs,” emphasizing commercial ties over ongoing regional tensions. The U.S. president has repeatedly positioned himself as a pragmatic dealmaker, focusing this visit on economic agreements rather than broader geopolitical challenges.

The Crown Prince, a key U.S. ally in regional diplomacy, has played a role in Trump administration efforts to mediate the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. His engagement comes amid renewed global attention on the Kingdom’s international standing.

The meeting took place in a formal setting at a Riyadh venue, with senior officials from both governments seated across from each other in a large conference room.

While the discussions primarily centered on trade and investment, they occurred against the backdrop of escalating tensions in the Middle East, including the Hamas-Israel conflict and ongoing negotiations with Iran.
