Riyadh, June 24 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News / Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump sharply criticized both Israel and Iran on Tuesday as the ceasefire agreement he brokered between the two nations appeared increasingly fragile. Trump reserved his strongest condemnation for Israel, accusing it of violating the truce almost immediately after it was reached.

“We have two countries that have been fighting for so hard and so long they don’t know what the fuck they are doing,” Trump told reporters, referring to Israel and Iran. The president said both had violated the terms of the ceasefire announced the night before but emphasized he was “not happy with Israel.”

“Israel, as soon as we made the deal they came out and they dropped a load of bombs, the likes of which I’ve never seen before,” Trump said as he departed Washington for the NATO summit in the Netherlands. “The biggest load that we’ve seen.”

Trump said he did not believe the ceasefire was officially broken but criticized Israel for acting prematurely within the ceasefire window. “You know, when I say okay now you have 12 hours, you don’t go out the first hour, just drop everything you have on,” he said.

He continued his rebuke in a post on Truth Social shortly after his departure on Marine One:“ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!”
