RIYADH, May 16 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) has launched the international theatrical production Slava’s Snowshow, marking a key highlight in the city’s cultural program running through May 24.
The acclaimed non-verbal performance features 13 shows, including weekend double performances to meet increased demand from families and theatergoers. The event is part of the Quality of Life Program, one of the Vision Realization Programs under Saudi Vision 2030.
“We are delighted to host Slava’s Snowshow in Riyadh as part of our ongoing efforts to bring world-class cultural experiences to the Kingdom,” said Khalid Alhazani, Executive Vice President of Riyadh Life Sector at RCRC. “These distinctive shows represent what we strive for at RCRC: creating impactful cultural moments that are truly memorable.”
Created by Russian artist Slava Polunin, the show blends visual poetry, theatrical fantasy, and immersive effects—including simulated snowstorms—to offer a cross-generational experience that transcends language.
Slava’s Snowshow has attracted over 12 million viewers in more than 30 countries, and has won 25 international awards.
