Shenyang To Host China's International Arabian Horse Festival

Shenyang To Host China's International Arabian Horse Festival

The China International Arabian Horse Festival (CIAHF) is a prestigious event that celebrates the beauty, grace, and heritage of the Arabian horse, one of the oldest and most influential breeds in the world. The festival, which will take place from August 27th to 29th in Shenyang, China, will feature a variety of activities, including the China National Arabian Horse Championship, a cultural and tourism program, and a cooperation forum between China and the Middle East.

The festival is organized by the Chinese Arabian Horse Association (CAHA), in collaboration with the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), which is affiliated with the UAE Ministry of Presidential Affairs. The EAHS will provide support and guidance for the festival, as well as send a delegation of experts and officials to oversee and participate in the event. The EAHS is also responsible for registering and certifying Arabian horses in the UAE, as well as promoting and preserving the breed.

The China National Arabian Horse Championship is the highlight of the festival, where nearly 100 Arabian horses from all over China will compete for various titles and prizes. The championship will follow the rules and standards of the European Conference of Arab Horse Organizations (ECAHO), which is the governing body for Arabian horse shows in Europe and Asia. The judges for the championship will include prominent international experts from France, Belgium, Poland, and the UAE.

The cultural and tourism program of the festival will showcase the rich history and culture of Shenyang, as well as the friendship and cooperation between China and the Arab world. The program will include visits to the Shenyang Imperial Palace, which was the former residence of the Qing dynasty emperors, the Rice Dream Space, which is a creative park that displays rice culture and art, and the Youth Street and Hun River, which are modern landmarks of Shenyang. The program will also feature art performances, photographic exhibitions, youth horsemanship activities, and horseback trails.

The cooperation forum between China and the Middle East will be an opportunity for dialogue and exchange between representatives from the Middle East Arabian Horse Studs and the UAE Equestrian Federation on one side, and the Shenyang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism and Radio and Television and Shenyang’s leading Arabian horse enterprises on the other side. The forum will discuss the long-term cooperation mode for holding international Arabian horse events in Shenyang, as well as sign a memorandum of understanding on-site.

The CIAHF is expected to attract over 10,000 visitors from China and abroad, as well as generate significant economic and social benefits for Shenyang. The festival is also a platform for enhancing cultural understanding and mutual respect between China and the Arab world, as well as showcasing the excellence and diversity of Arabian horses.
