Sharjah Ruler Donates 7th Manuscripts Batch To IMH, Al Qasimia University





ABU DHABI - H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has donated the seventh set of original manuscripts to Islamic Manuscripts House (IMH) of Al Qasimia University.


These are added to the house's inventory of manuscripts, which His Highness is keen to donate to the house to be made available to researchers and specialists for perusal and study.


The batch included 249 original manuscripts whose topics varied to include language, grammar, morphology, hadith, jurisprudence and interpretation in the sciences of the Holy Quran, the statutes, logic, belief, philosophy and other sciences covered written in Arabic and Persian.


The gift from the Ruler of Sharjah also included twenty - five parts of the Holy Quran and four ancient lithographs.





With these qualitative donations, the Manuscripts House at At Qasimia University continues its intellectual and cultural leadership, calling on researchers, those interested and specialists in the field of Islamic history, jurisprudence and other sciences to benefit from the rare and precious manuscripts available there.


This donation is the seventh among the collections that His Highness gives to the Islamic Manuscripts House of Al Qasimia University every time, which currently includes the most precious manuscripts, the rarest original documents, and ancient lithographs in all fields of science and knowledge, which were written in many manguages.
