Saudi, Spanish Foreign Ministers Discuss Gaza Crisis and Bilateral Cooperation in Madrid

Madrid, May 27 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met on Sunday with Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares to discuss regional and international developments, including the escalating situation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

The meeting was held in Madrid on the sidelines of the expanded session between the ministerial committee assigned by the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit, the Madrid Group, and several European countries.

Talks covered ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation across political and economic fields. The ministers exchanged views on the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories and ongoing diplomatic efforts to end hostilities and facilitate humanitarian aid.

“The meeting reaffirmed the importance of international cooperation in addressing the humanitarian situation in Gaza and advancing peace initiatives,” the Saudi Foreign Ministry said.

Also present at the meeting were Saudi Ambassador to Spain Princess Haifa bint Abdulaziz Al Mogrin, Advisor to the Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al Farhan, and Counsellor Dr. Manal Radwan from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
