RIYADH, May 9 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) has issued three new licenses to marina operators as part of its broader efforts to regulate coastal tourism, improve service quality, and support the sector’s growth in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
The licenses were granted to Aljar Marina Tourism Company in Yanbu, Al Ahlam Marine Tourism in Albuhairat, Jeddah, and Pearl Marina Chartering Company, also based in Jeddah.
SRSA said the move aims to create a more attractive environment for tourists, investors, and operators by expanding the range of tourism services and ensuring regulatory oversight. The authority’s mandate includes issuing licenses and permits, setting standards and guidelines for marinas, and supervising their development.
The new licenses bring the total number of authorized marina operators to 12. SRSA expects the expansion to attract further investment, increase tourist arrivals, support job creation, and strengthen the coastal tourism ecosystem along the Red Sea.
The authority reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing service quality, safeguarding the marine environment, and supporting the sustainable growth of tourism in Saudi Arabia’s coastal regions.
