Osaka, May 20 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka has attracted over 500,000 visitors during the first 35 days of the global exhibition, with peak attendance recorded during Japan’s Golden Week holiday, officials said on Monday.
The pavilion, located at the international exposition in Osaka, welcomed 17,363 visitors on May 4 alone, marking its highest single-day turnout to date.
Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Japan and Commissioner General of the Kingdom’s Pavilion, Dr. Ghazi Binzagr, said the volume and diversity of visitors reflected strong international interest in the Kingdom’s evolving narrative.
“The Kingdom’s pavilion showcases our rich cultural identity, the national transformation driven by the Saudi Vision 2030, and the impact we are making globally,” Dr. Binzagr said. “We aim to connect with visitors on a personal level, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive—particularly regarding Saudi hospitality and the interactive experiences offered.”
The pavilion features seven immersive rooms and galleries highlighting key national themes, including Evolving Cities, Sustainable Seas, Unlimited Human Potential, and the Pinnacle of Innovation. Cultural and creative programming has played a central role in attracting visitors, with over 700 events hosted since the opening, ranging from daily performing arts to fashion shows.
Highlights of the programming include the “Ahlan Wa Sahlan” (Welcome) initiative, the “We Are Saudi Arabia” experience, and “The Botanist,” an interactive augmented reality feature. The Cultural Music Studios inside the pavilion also host musical performances, blending traditional elements with modern expression.
Saudi officials noted that the pavilion’s content is designed to reflect both the Kingdom’s heritage and its ongoing transformation under Vision 2030. The full schedule of events and programming is available on the official Expo website: https://ksaexpo2025.sa.
Expo 2025 Osaka continues to draw international visitors, with national pavilions serving as focal points for cultural exchange, innovation showcases, and public diplomacy.
