Riyadh, June 17, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Ministry of Justice announced on Monday that more than 22,000 notarizations were completed during the Eid Al-Adha holiday via its Virtual Notary Service, part of the Najiz electronic services platform.
The notarizations included powers of attorney, declarations, social affairs documents, and real estate transactions. The Virtual Notary Service, which operates 24/7, allows users to complete notarial services remotely through a unified digital system, helping to streamline procedures, enhance efficiency, and improve service accessibility.
According to the Ministry, the platform enables users to initiate notarial procedures by logging in through the National Single Sign-On system. After selecting the relevant notarial service and submitting a request, specialized teams review the application. Parties then authenticate the process using verification codes sent via the Absher platform. Documents are issued securely in digital format.
The Ministry of Justice emphasized that the Virtual Notary Service aligns with broader digital transformation objectives, enhancing service quality and reinforcing transparency and governance within the sector.
