Saudi Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Culture Sign MoU to Enhance Cultural Cooperation


In a significant development aimed at fostering cultural cooperation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, and the Minister of Culture, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Riyadh.


The MoU, signed today, is a testament to the commitment of the two ministries to enhance cooperation in the cultural sector and to continue raising the level of existing coordination in various fields. This agreement is expected to pave the way for a new era of cultural diplomacy and international cultural exchange.


The MoU also includes provisions for close collaboration in promoting international cultural exchange, a key objective of the National Strategy for Culture. This strategy is derived from the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which underscores the importance of culture in the nation’s development.
