RIYADH, May 13 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has forecast thunderstorms in parts of Najran, Jazan, and Aseer, while dust-stirring winds are expected to affect Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, Madinah, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and the Northern Borders regions.
In marine forecasts, Red Sea winds will be northwesterly to northerly at 20–40 km/h, with wave heights ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 meters. The sea will be relatively calm.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will blow southerly to southeasterly at 15–40 km/h in the northern part and 8–25 km/h in central and southern areas, with similar wave conditions and generally calm seas.
Authorities advised caution in areas affected by reduced visibility due to dust and thunderstorms.
