Saudi, Italian culture ministers meet in Venice to advance bilateral cooperation

VENICE, May 9 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Culture Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan met with Italy’s Minister of Culture Alessandro Giuli during a visit to the 19th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia.


According to a statement from the Ministry of Culture, the meeting reaffirmed the strong and growing cultural ties between Saudi Arabia and Italy and their shared commitment to long-term collaboration in the cultural sector.


The ministers reviewed ongoing bilateral cultural initiatives, including a partnership between the Saudi Museums Commission and Triennale Milano to develop a design museum in Saudi Arabia, as well as a collaboration between the Saudi Architecture and Design Commission and Salone del Mobile for a future exhibition in the Kingdom.


The Ministry also highlighted its cultural programming in Venice throughout 2025 as part of its international outreach strategy.


The meeting emphasized culture as a key pillar of understanding, creative exchange, and sustainable cooperation between the two countries.
