Saudi Interior Ministry announces penalties for Hajj regulation violations

RIYADH, May 10 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior has announced that visit visa holders found entering or remaining in Makkah and the holy sites between Dhu Al-Qi'dah 1 and Dhu Al-Hijjah 14 will face fines of up to SAR20,000.
In a statement issued on Friday, the ministry also said that residents who violate Hajj regulations will be deported and banned from re-entering the Kingdom for 10 years.
Authorities urged all citizens, residents, and visitors to strictly adhere to Hajj rules to safeguard the safety of pilgrims and ensure the smooth performance of religious rituals.
The public has been encouraged to report any violations by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 in other regions of the Kingdom.
