Saudi interior minister praises security forces for successful Hajj season

MAKKAH, June 9 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Hajj Supreme Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz extended greetings and congratulations from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to personnel involved in implementing Hajj security plans, following the successful completion of the 1446 AH Hajj season.

The congratulations were addressed to members of the Ministry of Interior, the Presidency of State Security, and supporting military agencies from the Ministry of National Guard, the Ministry of Defense, and the General Intelligence Presidency, state media reported.

The minister conveyed the greetings during a meeting on Sunday at the Ministry of Interior’s headquarters in Makkah, attended by senior officials, commanders of security sectors, Hajj security forces, and supporting military and security agencies.

Prince Abdulaziz affirmed that, in line with the leadership’s directives, coordination among all government and security bodies ensured the successful implementation of this year’s Hajj security plans.

He praised the unity, sincerity, and dedication of the participating security and military personnel, underscoring their sense of national and religious responsibility in serving pilgrims.
