Saudi Foreign Minister Holds Series of Calls on Gaza Crisis

Riyadh, August 9, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held a series of phone calls with counterparts from Europe, Turkey, Germany, the European Union, and Egypt to discuss recent developments in the Gaza Strip and their security and humanitarian repercussions.


Prince Faisal spoke with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot on the situation in Gaza, addressing the need to halt escalation and mitigate humanitarian suffering.


In a separate call with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, the two officials reviewed the latest developments, stressing the urgency of stopping Israeli violations and ending the hardship faced by residents in the strip.


The Saudi Foreign Minister also conferred with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, underscoring the importance of international efforts to stop the war and alleviate the humanitarian crisis.


During his conversation with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas, Prince Faisal discussed the need to halt Israeli violations and prevent starvation crimes against the population of Gaza.


In his call with Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Dr. Badr Abdelatty, both sides reviewed recent developments and reaffirmed the importance of ending Israeli attacks and violations, as well as addressing the humanitarian catastrophe caused by the ongoing conflict.
