Saudi Culture Minister Meets With Chairperson Of Qatar Museums

The Saudi Minister of Culture, Prince Badr Bin Abdullah Bin Farhan, met with the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Qatar Museums, Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani, in Doha on Monday. The meeting was part of Prince Badr’s official visit to Qatar to attend the opening of the Doha International Book Fair 2023.

The two official discussed areas of collaboration in the museums sector, including the exchange of expertise and loan of collections. They also expressed their mutual appreciation for the cultural heritage and diversity of the two countries.

Prince Badr emphasized the depth of the historical relations between the leaderships and peoples of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and expressed his keenness the work on initiatives the would enhance the cultural ties and cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

The meeting was attended by the Saudi Ambassador to Qatar, Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan, and the Assistant Minister of Culture, Rakan bin Ibrahim Al-Touq.
