PARIS, France - Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who is also the Prime Minister of the kingdom, spoke with the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on Thursday and discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation and regional and global issues of mutual interest.
According to the official statements from both sides, the leaders reviewed the distinguished relations within the strategic partnership between the two countries, existing joint cooperation in various fields, ways to enhance it, and opportunities for its development.
They also exchange views on a number of topics and issues of common interest, including climate change, energy, security, counter-terrorism, trade and investment, and regional stability.
PM Modi thanked Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for Saudi Arabia’s “excellent support” during the evacuation of Indian nationals from Sudan via Jeddah in April 2023.
The telephonic conversation between Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi reflects the close and cordial ties between the two countries, which have been enhanced by frequent high-level exchanges and consultations. The two leaders agreed to remain in touch and continue their cooperation on various issues of mutual interest.
