Riyadh, May 28, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Ministry of Interior has reaffirmed that all residents in the Kingdom must obtain a valid permit to perform the Hajj pilgrimage, warning that violators will face immediate deportation and a ten-year re-entry ban.
The ministry emphasized that holding a Hajj permit is a mandatory condition and part of the regulatory framework designed to maintain the safety and security of all pilgrims during the annual season.
Authorities called on all residents to strictly adhere to Hajj regulations and instructions, which are intended to facilitate the performance of rituals in an orderly and secure environment. The ministry noted that these rules are essential in preventing overcrowding and ensuring health and logistical support for millions of pilgrims from around the world.
The ministry also urged the public to assist enforcement efforts by reporting any violations. Residents can call 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region, or 999 in other parts of the Kingdom.
The announcement comes as part of a broader campaign to enforce pilgrimage regulations ahead of the 1446 AH Hajj season, which will begin on June 4.
