Saudi Arabia to Host 1,000 Palestinian Pilgrims at King Salman’s Expense for Hajj 1446 AH

RIYADH, May 19 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has issued directives to host 1,000 pilgrims from the families of martyrs, prisoners, and the wounded among the Palestinian people to perform Hajj 1446 AH, at his own expense.
The initiative falls under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.
Minister of Islamic Affairs and General Supervisor of the program Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh expressed his deep appreciation to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, noting that the gesture reflects Saudi Arabia’s continued support for the Palestinian cause and its commitment to strengthening Islamic solidarity.
Dr. Al Alsheikh said the ministry has launched a comprehensive operational plan to facilitate the arrival and stay of the pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah, ensuring full services from departure until return.
Since its establishment in 1417 AH, the program has hosted more than 64,000 pilgrims from around the world, reaffirming the Kingdom’s role in serving Islam and Muslims and its position as the spiritual center of the Islamic world.
