Saudi Arabia’s Annual Inflation Holds Steady at 2.1% in July

Riyadh, August 14, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s annual inflation rate remained stable at 2.1% in July 2025 compared to the same month last year, the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) said on Thursday.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) showed no significant change on a monthly basis, with prices across most categories remaining largely unchanged between June and July.
The Wholesale Price Index (WPI) also stood at 2.1% year-on-year in July, while recording a slight monthly decline of 0.1% from June.
According to GASTAT, the CPI measures changes in the prices paid by consumers for a fixed basket of 490 goods and services, while the WPI tracks pre-retail price movements for a fixed basket of 343 items.
