Saudi Arabia rejects Israeli actions in Gaza, reaffirms support for Palestinian statehood

RIYADH, May 8 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed its categorical rejection of the Israeli occupation authorities’ announcement regarding their incursion into and control of the Gaza Strip and other Palestinian territories.
In a statement, the ministry strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli violations of international law and international humanitarian law.
The Kingdom reaffirmed its firm opposition to any expansion of Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories and emphasized the importance of holding the occupation authorities accountable in accordance with international resolutions.
Saudi Arabia reiterated its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, in line with international legitimacy, the Arab Peace Initiative, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
