RIYADH, June 10 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced on Tuesday the launch of the Umrah season for the Hijri year 1447, with visa issuance for pilgrims from outside the Kingdom beginning immediately.
The ministry stated that Umrah permits for international pilgrims will be issued starting Wednesday through the Nusuk app, the Kingdom’s unified digital platform for government services related to pilgrimage.
The application enables users to easily obtain permits and access a wide range of digital services aimed at enhancing the overall Umrah experience.
The ministry added that technical and operational preparations for the new season began early in coordination with relevant authorities to ensure smooth procedures and continued improvement in services.
Efforts are also underway to expand multilingual digital and awareness services and to uphold the highest standards of safety and comfort for Umrah performers, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
