Osaka, Japan, June 2, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka has launched “Exponeur,” a global Saudi initiative aimed at connecting entrepreneurs, innovators, and investors through the international Expo platform, leveraging the global gathering to empower entrepreneurship ecosystems worldwide.
The initiative spans five years, from Expo Osaka 2025 to Expo Riyadh 2030, and is designed to link global challenges with innovation opportunities through training programs, project showcases, and measurable impact to be presented at each Expo edition.
Exponeur aspires to become the first Expo pavilion fully dedicated to entrepreneurship, innovation, and investment, reinforcing the Kingdom’s growing role in fostering a limitless entrepreneurial ecosystem and promoting international cooperation.
Key components of the initiative include:
Exponeur Academy: A six-month global training program that will train 150 entrepreneurs annually from over 20 countries, providing mentorship, investment readiness preparation, and opportunities to present projects to venture capital funds.
Exponeur Competitions and Challenges: Organized across regional and global stages over five years, aligned with each Expo’s theme, culminating with top projects showcased at Expo Riyadh 2030.
Annual Exponeur Event: Held in Riyadh, featuring panel discussions, presentations, networking, and partnership building.
Entrepreneurship Development Fund: Designed to support startups and address financing gaps in developing countries.
The initiative is launched in partnership with the Vision Leadership Association, in cooperation with the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), and is supported by SBI Holdings Japan, which is sponsoring the first edition of programs during Expo 2025 Osaka.
Prince Fahad bin Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Vision Leadership Association and Head of the Saudi Startups Group at the G20 (Startup20), stated that Exponeur embodies the Kingdom’s role in promoting national and global economic development, fostering cross-border entrepreneurship and innovation, and addressing global challenges.
Mansour Al-Sa’nouni, founder of the initiative, noted that Exponeur was conceptualized during Saudi Arabia’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai and has since evolved into a global platform for empowering entrepreneurs, launching with Expo Osaka 2025 and continuing through Expo Riyadh 2030.
