Saudi Arabia Issues Thunderstorm and Wind Forecast for Several Regions

Riyadh, May 26 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather advisory forecasting thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds in parts of the Aseer and Jazan regions on Monday.
Additionally, dust-stirring winds are expected to affect areas of the Eastern Province, Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, Madinah, and Najran, the NCM said in its daily bulletin.
Over the Red Sea, surface winds will range from northerly to northwesterly at speeds of 15 to 40 km/h, with waves between 0.5 and 1.5 meters. The sea conditions are expected to remain generally calm.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will shift between northwesterly and westerly, reaching speeds of 15 to 38 km/h. Wave heights will also range from 0.5 to 1.5 meters, with calm sea conditions anticipated.
The NCM continues to monitor developments and has advised residents in affected areas to exercise caution, particularly when driving in low visibility caused by dust or during storm activity.
