Saudi Arabia Hosts U.S.-Ukraine Talks in Jeddah Under Crown Prince’s Directives
Jeddah, March 11, 2025 – Saudi Arabia hosted high-level talks between the United States and Ukraine in Jeddah today, following the directives of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and Minister of State Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban. The U.S. delegation was led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, while Ukraine was represented by Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
The talks are part of the Kingdom’s broader efforts to facilitate a resolution to the Ukraine crisis, leveraging its balanced diplomatic relationships and commitment to international security and peace. Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its belief in dialogue as the key to resolving disputes, aligning with its commitment to upholding international law and fostering global stability.
